Due to the adoption of the Uniform Principles for assessment of overseas qualifications on 7 April 2008, the following College of Law courses will no longer satisfy the academic requirements of the Board:
- Constitutional Law (as from 1 May 2008).
- Legal Ethics (will not satisfy academic requirements from 31 December 2008).

The Fourth Schedule was amended on 26 March 2010 to remove ANU and Bond. Applicant's who have completed their practical training outside New South Wales please refer to the following requirements:
Interstate Practical Training Courses
A person who has satisfied the practical legal training (PLT) requirements for admission in another State will require:
- A certificate/letter from their PLT provider which certifies that the PLT course completed by the applicant satisfies the practical training requirements for admission as a Legal Practitioner in their home jurisdiction, and;.
- that the requirements of the course completed by the applicant include evidence of the attainment of competencies in the areas set out in the Sixth Schedule of the Legal Profession Admission Rules(2005). (Download Dean's Letter below);
