You will be aware that while Banco Court is under refurbishment, admission ceremonies are being conducted in Federal Court Number 1, Level 21 of the Law Courts Building.

ADMISSIONS
Renovations to Banco Court and the Supreme Court will impact admission of lawyer ceremonies from October 2011 for up to 12 months.
From 7 October 2011 ceremonies will be held in the Federal Court, which is also located in the Law Courts Building. Reduced capacity will impact the numbers and arrangements for each ceremony.
- Late applications will not be accepted and it may not be possible to accommodate all applicants
Please ensure that you read and comply with all of the instructions that will be sent to you following the Board's approval of your application. In particular, please ensure that you allow sufficient time to arrive at least 40 minutes before your ceremony. Applications for Admission: Graduation Statements
The Board has recently received applications for admission where in each case the applicant has provided an Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement instead of an official Academic Transcript.
Graduation Statements may not satisfy the Board's requirements with respect to admission. Please refer to the first Schedule to the Legal Profession Admission Rules 2005, in particular Section 3 of Form 10 and Section 4 of Form 11, which requires the applicant to attach an 'original academic transcript showing completion of the requirements for the degree'.
Only applications for admission that include official Academic Transcripts will be processed - posted 26 July 2011
