Refund Policy
Admission as a Lawyer
i. Admission as a Lawyer
(Applicants who have not been admitted anywhere before).
- Form 10 Application for Admission as a Lawyer (Fee $420). - Original documents required.
- Form 3 Character Reference (You must lodge two form 3 references with Form 10).
ii. Admission as a Lawyer
(Applicants who have been admitted outside Australia or New Zealand).
- Form 11 Application for Admission as a Lawyer (Fee $420) - Original documents required.
- Form 3A Character Reference (You must lodge two form 3A references with Form 11)
iii. Re-Admission as a Lawyer
(Applicants seeking Re-Admission) (Fee $960) - Original documents required.
- Form 12 Application for Re-Admission (form not available on-line) - Please contact the Board's Executive Officer to request a form and further information on re-admission (02 ) 9338 3510.
Assessments

Public Notary

*A duplicate of an original certificate cannot be issued. Damaged certificates must be returned to the Board before a replacement can be issued. If a Certificate has been lost, a statutory declaration setting out the reasons surrounding the loss must be lodged together with any application. Student-at-Law
Student - (Diploma in Law Course)
- Form 1: Application for Registration as a Student-at-Law (Fee $200) - Original documents required.
- *Application for Enrolment (Fee (Winter 2012) $630 per subject ) - Application form can be sent electronically, originals not required LPAB_Enrolments@agd.nsw.gov.au
- Library/Student ID Card application - Original documents required eg. x 2 colour passport sized photographs and 100 points of identification.
- Exam Script Request - You may also need to supply a large stamped, self addressed envelope.
- Transcript of Academic Record (Fee $50) - Application form can be sent electronically, originals not required ag_lpab@agd.nsw.gov.au
- Rule 67/ Student Course Application /(Statutory Declaration) (Fee $60) - Application can be sent electronically, originals not required ag_lpab@agd.nsw.gov.au
*For all statutory declarations and applications submitted electronically either by email or fax using a credit card payment form, please DO NOT submit the originals via post or hand delivery. You should retain the originals for your own records. Where duplicates are received and are inadvertently processed, the Board will retain an administrative fee to cover the cost of any necessary refunds. - Posted 15 October 10

- *Request for an Original Admission Certificate or Diploma (Fee $130) - Application form can be sent electronically, originals not required ag_lpab@agd.nsw.gov.au
- Early enrolment with the College of Law (Fee $60.00). If you have passed, or been exempted from, at least seventeen of the Boards twenty examinations you may apply for a College of Law letter. - Application form can be sent electronically, originals not required ag_lpab@agd.nsw.gov.au

Other
- Form 4: Application under s26 of the Legal Profession Act 2004. (Fee $320). - To avoid unnecessary delays it is strongly recommended that before an application is submitted any applicant contact the Board's Executive Officer (02) 9338 3510.-Original documents required.
Payment Options
(Note as of 1 April 2010 the Board is no longer able to accept 'Personal cheques' for any payments).
The following methods of payment are accepted by the Legal Profession Admission Board:
1. Bank Cheque
2. Solicitor Firm Cheque
3. Money Order
4. International Money Order
5. Cash (in person) (except enrolments)
6. Eftpos (except enrolments) / Visa / Mastercard (for credit card payments other than in person, the Board requires a *credit card payment form to be completed).
*Please note we cannot accept 3rd party credit card payments unless written consent is provided by the cardholder: 3rd party credit card authorisation letter*Credit card transactions will be processed by the Legal Profession Admission Board in Australian Dollars and will be converted at the current rate on that day by your credit card provider. You must ensure that you have sufficient funds available, otherwise you may be charged a dishonour fee of $35.00 and/or a late fee. Other irregularities may also incur a dishonour fee.
Enrolling students should note, due to the number of enrolments received you must also ensure that your credit card does not expire within at least 4 weeks from the date of lodgement.
All cheques and money orders must be in Australian currency and made payable to the Legal Profession Admission Board.
Dishonoured cheques will incur a $35.00 fee.
